Hey, world. I'm currently not at home. Yes, I'm away. Not on holiday, just at someone's place, spending the night. I was here since Tuesday night, and I'll be going back later tonight.

Oh, and this friday, which is tomorrow, I'll be going for Track of Talents "2" celebration with LiChing, Janie and SzeTing. In a DRESS! Pictures will be posted up, I hope. If I'm not too lazy, that is. Coax me, and I will.

I know, kinda unbelieveable that I'll be in a dress right?? If you don't, you must not know me then. But hey! I do wear dresses okay. Just not all the time. Only during special occasions e.g. Weddings, events etc. Stuff that requires me to wear a dress. Why else would I wear a dress? To tuition? Gary might think I'm retarded. So, no.

Besides that, nothing much has been going on. I declined an invite from Shiva to go out. Steven won't call me back; Kheng's officially not going for TOT; Des, Jan, Michelle and everybody else went for camp; Andrea went to Indonesia; Jon's going to Taiwan too; Stayed up to 7am and wa surprised that the sky was bright when I went to sleep; Finally caught up with Corynn[States] and LiChing[UK] after a very long time and I'm procrastinating on my projects.

Right. And I bought a new dress at Nichii for only RM62.90 :)

Mcfly is officially my absolute favourite band now :) Check this out. How can you not fall in love with them? :)

Hi. Right. So one of the Mondays before school closed, I decided to invite a couple of people to go climbing. The people I invited included Jan, Des, Xing and Leung. Last minute one by one told me that they couldn't make it. Ked was the only one who said he could. So great. Climbing with Ked. And Mana was there, climbing along. I actually went with Neil and Dom, but neither of them climbed. Before climbing, we watched Michael Jackson's : This Is It. Pretty good, but I thought it could be better. Rate, um, 7/10.

So at 8pm, met up with Ked and Bernard at Camp 5. That's where we climb, if you didn't know. Its in One Utama, a shopping centre. If you really didn't know that, you must be either retarded or living under a shell. Yes, climbing is fun. Yc came late, so we had to rent a belay set.

Here, this is how a belay set looks like, if you were wondering. Just stick the strings in and check the lock, and you're ready to go. Plus, this thing is so awesome, I can practically cary someone twice my weight.

Oh, and I couldn't climb unless Yc came. Why, you ask? Simply because she's got the shoes. And its like RM5 if I were to rent it and I wasn't thinking of doing that. Since I already needed to play RM23 altogether. RM18 for entrace fee and RM5 for the harness. Oh, they invested in new harnesses, btw. And I so do not know how to work it. Its totally different from the older ones. Rock climbing shoes are special shoes, fyi. The make sure that your feet are slighty arched, to make climbing easier. But they kinda hurt, if you ask me.

Kedric, trying to act pro. Climb so fast, could hardly keep up with his speed. Yes, I was belaying him :) He didn't die. At least I think he didn't. That's the easy wall, of course he made it to the top.

The hard wall on the other hand, he was stuck. So I was stuck too, at the bottom. And Bernard spotted me, staring at Ked's ass! OH! I have no choice okay, I have to look up to help him. Just wanted to clarify that, all you speculators.

Right, so I'm blogging again. I seem to be in a very good blogging mood :) So here's what I've been fretting bout since the 23rd Oct 2009 (the last day of exams) - 13th Nov 2009 (the last day of school).

Aim : To try to squeeze out marks from the evil retarded teachers who never know how to take pity on their students who studied so hard for the exam.

Hypothesis : No teachers would add marks for their students.

Variables :

Manipulated : The teachers ( Pn.Yee - English, Pn.Roziha - BM, Pn.Ting - Modern Math, En.Amara - Additional Math, Physics - Miss Wong, Biology - Pn. Yip, Moral - Pn.Kwang, Chemistry - Pn.Cheong, History - Miss Malathi )

Constant : The student ( Amanda Phuah )

Responding : The marks obtained

Procedure :
1. Pester the teacher to return the papers.
2. DO NOT approach when the teacher is angry especially when he/she is marking your class's papers.
3. Always ask for the marking scheme when you get the paper back.
4. Check through the marking scheme.
5. Check for additional marks.
6. Pray that the teacher counts the marks wrongly.
7. Add up the marks given.
8. Step 6 is repeated.
9. Pester the teacher again for more marks on why the answer you gave is wrong and why you should get the marks.
10. When she/he doens't, say SHIT while walking away.
11. Pray that the teacher doesn't hear you.
12. Go back to your seat and tell your friends about how dumb the teacher is.
13. Start planning how you are going to burn the school down.

Results :
BM - 70% (A2)
English - 86% (A1)
Additional Math - 70% (A2)
Modern Math - 81% (A1)
Physics - 50% (D7)
Biology - 63% (B4)
Chemistry - 70% (A2)
History - 53% (D7)
Moral - 54%(D7)

Conclusion : The hypothesis is accepted. None of the teachers would add marks for their students.

Hey, ah lians and ah bengs. Um, some super long delayed posts I promised to blog about, since the exam. Ya, I procrastinate alot. So? Deal with it. Its 2.24am and I'm kinda cranky. So read if you want to, if not, you could totally leave.

Right, so remember I said that my parents were off for leaders' retreat back in Sept/Oct? And Jorleen, my sis and I were home alone for 3 whole days :) And here's how it went. And the things we did and ate, and stuff not so sane people would do.

All the cooking was done by yours truly, Amanda Phuah. And I must say, its pretty good. A tad salty though, but nontheless edible. I kinda did cheat while making it, the pasta sauce was from the can :) Cheese and herbs with ham, bacon, mushrooms and more cheese. Awesome.

Okay fine, I'll give some credit to Jorleen from cooking the pasta. Well, all she had to do was add water when it dried up and made sure it was cooked and soft. Not all rubberband-ish. See, the end product kinda cool, kan?

And also a little credit to my not-as-awesome-as-me-sister for making the last minute salad dressing. We decided to be healthy and eat some veggies. Unfortunately, we ran out of ketchup, so we couldn't exactly make thousand island as dressing. So, she searched some weird dressing online which is a mix of white vinegar, mayonnaise and thyme. Well, it tasted like sour mayonnaise. But, better than no dressing right? And none of us had diarrhea, so we're good :)

Plus, we had left over pasta, as usual. We never estimate the right amount. Never, I tell you. So, Jorleen The Cacat decided to use the pasta as a manual move-your-fringe-out-of-the-way thing. It does work actually, not to say that you should try it or anything, your parents might label you as a pure retard if they find out.

On the other hand, Amanda The Bigger Retard used the pasta as bluetooth. See, who needs a freaking RM100 bluetooth when you can make one out of a pasta? All you've gotta do is just stick it in your ear. As easy as ABC, do re mi and 123.

And of course we had some studying done. This was before the year end exam, btw. History, the subject every Malaysian hates. Go Nabi Muhammad, if I could say. Pfft. Its all crap, really. Has the government ever thought of putting their very own politicians in school to take the History exam? I'd bet RM100 that they'll all fail with flying colours.

The next night, we had pizza. Dominoes, if you can't see the picture above. Tilt your head, it might help. Cause I sure am not going to reload the picture. 2 regulars, breadstix and a bottle of coke. Eventhough we already had one in the fridge. But, its all in the package. So, its cool :)

23rd October 2009

GOODBYE, YOU EVIL EXAMS.

Hello, evil results.

Note : The following stunts in pictures 4 and 5 were done by trained professional retards. Do not try to reenact or recreate what you just saw. Hazardous for your brain.

Sunday, November 8, 2009

Oh right. I'm blogging again. Not getting old though. Plus, this blog has to stay alive. Okay.

Its a Saturday night now, Sunday morning if you count the pass midnight thing. So, we after SNL just now, the usual gang minus the two boys went out to eat! Hahaha. Guess where?? Only Daey knows so far. Fine. I'll tell you anyway, since you're dying to know.

WILLIAM'S!!!!!

William's is soooo awesome I tell you. They serve the best food in the world mann! Most of us had Mozzarella Cheese Naan. And the Roti Hawaii in William's is so different from the one in Murni's. Everyone who says its the same, is lying. God, cleanse their sins. Haha.

Oh, and I'm supposed to go climbing this Monday, but I'm not exactly sure if its still on or not. Because KONG KHENG KIN can't make it! Gosh. You ass. Just so you know, I planned really really hard okay. Breaks my heart to think as though you don't want to see me. Geez, its been what? 5 freaking years????!!!!! Anyway, you better not bail out on lunch.

Well, I'll be off tomorrow for a really really long day of exciting stuff. First off, church as usual. Then, will have youth band meeting. Then, leaders' meeting. After that, will be going for Serena's Farewell Party, which I'm supposedly in charge of games and lastly, will be going for some event happening at Acts Church. Yes, I'll bring my camera this time.

Till then, see ya.

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

Oh, right. I'm back. Blogging. Real bored, if you ask me. Okay. Just a couple of updates to rekindle your likeness of viewing this blog.

So, I was casted in this video for church. Its for Pastor's Discovering God Series we're doing at church now. And guess who I acted as? Ya, you've guessed it. I portrayed a preppy-and-I-love-the-colour-pink-only-and-I'm-totally-in-love-with-ZacEfron-and-the-latest-celebrity-gossip person. Plus, now everyone's asking me who Jimmy Chong is. And my eye bags look pretty huge. Can't blame me.We shot from 10pm-1am. Watch it. Then laugh.

And recently, I went for a japanese buffet with Uncle Kok Kin and Aunty Nian Yee. The occasion, you ask? Aunty Nian Yee's birthday. We went to Tenji, at Mount Kiara. And believe me, it was awesome. Of sashimis, sushi, and alot of other raw stuff including oysters, if you were wondering. Mannn, I really want to go back. But, no money. So, I think i should scratch that idea. We were kinda busy eating, so not alot of pictures were taken.

Besides, I went to Puay Chai last Friday for service. I lost my voice. We had to work with the kids, help them pitch their tents, teach them lame songs we learn and make them shut up. Oh, did I mention they didn't have an MC? And lucky them, they got me. GREAT. It was all fine and all. Everyone having fun doing mississippi, the banana dance thing, the hand up, palms together, etc. Until, the mic went KO. And thank God for his gift of voice to me, I was the manual loud speaker. It was kinda hard to get everyone listening to me, but I think I did pretty well. Grace of God, really. Mommy came to pick me up after, so I didn't join the gang for mamak. Oh, and I missed Creative Life's barbeque. I really really really wanted to go, but I was stuck being MC. Totally missed Yean Ching's not-so-grand entrace. Good job, you. :P

Went rock climbing on Monday. I'm stiff. Gosh. Xing, Jan and Des were supposed to come along too, but they got caught up with their own stuff. So, they didn't make it. Kedric, however, did. Thank God. :) Mana came along too. Oh, and before that, Dom, Neil and I went to watch Michael Jackson's : This Is It. The documentary really isn't that bad. The dancers are awesome. And the guitarist lady, WOW. We were actually supposed to watch Jennifer's Body, until they found out it was 18PL. Then we switched. Got my ass kicked in pool by Dom and I officially suck at Daytona. What a dumb game. I keep crashing the car. But i think I did alot better than the last time in IOI. We met up with Sean who was working at Baskins and got free caramel and gummy bears on our ice cream.. Gummy Bears are so awesome. I love the show too. Haven't watched it in ages, though. Climbing after was good. Didn't really do alot, was busy belaying Kedric Kwan. But I managed to climb a not-so-vertical wall half way. Fell couple of times, then they decided to close the place. That red is so gonna get pawned on Monday. Yes, I'm going back to conquer it. With Kheng and Drea. Hehehe, my little scheme. Oh, and I got my own MEMBERSHIPCARD! I'll snap a picture and post it up soon.

Till then, keep reading. :)
